All tickets may be purchased before the fair at the fair office in Building D on the fairgrounds. During the fair they can be purchased at the gate. Season tickets cost $8 and admit one per­ son to the fairgrounds each day. The season ticket holder is free to leave and enter the grounds each day, and his ticket will be punched at the gate. A daily ticket costs $3 for adults and $1 for children ages ft-12. 4-H members can purchase a daily ticket for $1, as can members of special groups who make prior arrangements at the fair office. Eight main categories, plus another called "miscellaneous," with 14 classes comprise the Antique Show presented in a special part of Building D, the main exhibit building on the fairgrounds. One grand prize ribbon will be awarded in each category, and a trophy will be awarded to the "best of show."
