This year's season will again include four productions. There are opodngs for qualified people in theatre production positions for the 1383-84 productions are: director, "The Effects Of Gamma Rays On Man-In- The-Moon Marigolds" and "Har vey." Technical director-lighting designer; costume designer- makeup, properties-costume assistant for all four productions and m u s i c d i r e c t o r - p i a n i s t , choreographer for "Stop The World, I Want To Get Off." The MCC theatre Department is looking tor responsible, qualified individuals who are seriously in terested in and qualified for working with young, relatively inexperienced actors and technical personnel, as well as with more experienced area residents. All MCC production involvement on stage and backstage is open to all interested area residents as well as MCC students, faculty and staff. Anyone interested in applying should contact the McHenry County College personnel office. The Theatre Department at McHenry County College (MCC) will be securing a number of qualified peoplfe for theatre production positions during the 1983-84. The MCC theatre season will consist of four major productions to be staged in the MCC "blade box" theatre and the positions available are on a production-by-production basis. , The 1983-84 season will be: "Hie Good Doctor" by Neil Simon and directed by Debra Woodward. Rehearsal for "The Good Doctor" is slated to begin Sept. 5, with the show opening Oct. 13, and closing Oct. 23; "The Effects of Gamma Rays on Man-In-The-Moon Marigolds" by Paul Zindel. Rehearsals begin Oct. 24, opening Dec. 1 and closing Dec. 10; "Harvey" by Mary Chase, rehearsals beginning Jan. 23, opening March 1 and closing March 10; "Stop The World, I Want To Get Off" by Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newley, directed by Robert Riner with rehearsals beginning March 19, opening April 28 and closing May 5. Positions available for these Richmond Round-Up Days Richmond Round-Up Days will be held for the third year on Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 27 and 28. Activities on both days include demonstrations by the Fire Department and Rescue squad, a dunk tank, food sales, and a Paint Clown Face attraction. Fwrtureajrf the ̂ Saturday event on Broadway, and a white^lephant sale at St. Joseph's Church on Main Street from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be an Arts and Crafts Fair and a rummage sale planned, followed by a street dance from 7 to 11 p.m. A mini-pageant, "Visit the Old West" will be presented both days at 1 p.m. on Broadway Street. A pet and bike parade will be the highlight of the, Sunday en tertainment at 2 p.m., also on Broadway. > Other attractions will be a bake and produce sale on Main Street Sunday.
