NEW DAUGHTER Gary and Jill Hosier annnmye the birth of their first child, Katherine Byer Hosier, who was born Sept. 3, at Northwestern Prentice Hospital in Chicagd. She entered the world weighing 7 lbs., 3 oz. The young Hosiers live at 415 Emerafd Green Drive in Warrenville, EL. Maternal grandparents of little Katherine are Frank and June Nosek of Naperville and paternal grandparents are Velmont and Dorothy Hosier of McHenry. II PROBLEMS ON ROADS >rs and hopefully some of your former neighboi Ringwood area VISITORS Monday, Columbus Day, there was no school, so this enabled Debbie and Bill Boric and son Aaron to visit Debbie's parents, Bob and Martha Betts. Debbie teaches school in Oak Park and this gave Aaron and Mom a good chance to visit with Martha. We imagine there were others who did special things on the kid's day off from school, but we weren't called. ANNUAL REUNION Doris and Walt Low trekked to Bentondorf, LA. for the annual Thomas familv reunion Saturday and Sunday Oct. 8 and 9. The weather was very cooperative for this group, as they have always hi who takes the little ones for a walk down to the edge of the great Mississippi River. The kids really enjoy this and always come back carrying rocks and shells of all sorts. The past year river and enjoying the walks and Uncle Duk0 stul goes " There .were 67 present year. Only four of the original 10 who started this reunion. Three regulars who were absent because of poor health, were greatly missed. Each year we gain someone who hasn't been coming and we lose a few who for various reasons were unable to attend. But all had a good time cathcing up and visiting. GOD BLESS Judy Bird of Steuben Road in lily Lake Park subdivision, has received calls from State tentative Dick Klemm's Her concern for control of motorized vehicles on private roads, has helped trigger a meeting to be Nov.~&, at McHenry City Hall. How can the Illinois Motor Vehicle laws be changnrt so that living on non-dedicated have protection against speeders, dirt bikes, ana the noise and dust pollution resulting from motorcyclists who use subdivision roads as a race track? This is a problem that will be addressee at the meeting, to which representatives of all unincorporated areas are invited. The county sheriffs office does not have any Jurisdiction over speeding vehicles on these roads. To change this, Judy asks for the support of all people living in areas not controlled state laws. In our area, this includes Lily moor, Fritzsche Estates, Parkside, Lily Lake Park, and Hidden Valley Acres. Dorothy Loss, site has been ill for two putting more Julia's shoulders apologizes that no Continental Breakfast was served on the blood pressure morning, due to Dorothy's absence. These two ladies do a tremendous service by their devotion, loyalty and caring for all the people who take part in this daily meal and fellowship. HOLIDAY PARTY Members of the Lakemoor Civic Improvement Association are making plans for a Christmas party for Lakemoor youngsters, ages three to ten. The girls had a great evening, with only one member, Millie Nejedly, absent.
