In the growing sunlight they see a village emerge from the fog, and thus an adventure that is woven with love songs, dancing, comedy, and pathos. Once Tommy and Jeff walk into the bustling market square of Brigadoon, two love stories unfold, lessons in values are learned, and the secret of Brigadoon is revealed, life will never be the same. Metoorable songs from the show include: "The Heather on the HOI", "Come to Me, Bend to Me", "Almost Like Being in Love", and "There But for You Go I", The lilting "I'll Go Home with Bonnie Jean", and the hilarious songs of the lusty Meg Brockie, add to the color and excitement of the production. Choreographer Missy Spengel has created dances of highland authenticity, and Broadway sparkle, as whirling petticoats and flashing swords highlight the wedding scene, MacConnachv Square, and the ethereal qualities of the blessed village. Music director Jeordano Martinez has blended a chorus of 90 voices into a vibrant tapestry of song, and artistic director Gloria Carr has .created vivid costumes evoking the essence of a Scottish village, yet capturing theatrical flair.
