Language enrichment classes will begin Jan. 8 for children three to five years of age at the Easter Seal Therapy Center, 708 Washington, Woodstock. will be held Tuesday and Friday mornings from 9 a.m. to 10 a.iri. The program is designed to provide children with experiences that will etty courage growth of expressive nnd receptive language skills. Group activities with three to five children per group have been created to stimulate overall language growth. Clastes will be taught by a speech pathologist. Opera House renovation underway Woodstock Opera House, Inc. which launched a $200,000 exterior renovation fund drive in mid- Noveniber, reports that contribu­ tions _ so far total more than $10,000. Helen Wright, president of Woodstock Opera House, Inc., said as a result of the fund drive and g rowing communi t awareness of the programs 0! I fered in the historic building, 40 new members have joined Woodstock Opera House, Inc. Plans call for replacing and fix­ ing the more than 100 windows, repairing the sandstone sills anq caps, repairing the terra cotta or­ naments, cleaning masonry and replacing damaged areas, remov­ ing paint from the foundation granite course, painting the wdbd and arresting weather damage. Currently on view in the Com­ munity Room are Christmas trees deco ra t ed by many loca l organizations. The decorations provide a colorful panorama in keeping with the spitlt of the holi­ day season. The public is welcome to view the decorated trees when the building is open. They then entered a camper-type trailer parked on the lot. The thieves stole the following items from the trailer : an AM-FM radio-cassette player in a glass-topped brown case, two speakers, 15 tapes, an Orange Black and Decker cir­ cular saw, an orange Husky 24- inch chain saw, and a red Snap- On brand toolbox containing numerous tools.
