It will be a party and all refreshments will be furnished by the club. Many members have ex^ pressed a desire to change the meetings to daytime rather than night, and a discussion will be held to voice opinions, followed by a vote of the membership." One of the club's highlights of the year is a tour of the state capitol, planned in April while the House and Senate are in session. Those attending will be guests of the House Representative, with lunch in the capitol cafeteria, and bus transportation the only charge. A count will be taken of those interested, and a day of the week and date will be selected. Also, a date must be picked and reservations made for the summer picnic, and the spring and fall luncheons. The president was elected to a two-year term and will serve the second year, but Ann Bailey and Marge Lange are retiring from the board and replacements are needed to conform to the club's charter. The McHenry Senior Citizens Club will be 17 years old June 21, 1985 and the next meeting will determine whether or not it will be in existence and active until then. arsPf-gN',? ;: - ,• - mmm- ,'y~, •RHi - • i y . - -rV Tia Rthtori mi Ctwryl Saltk Engaged Cheryl Smith and Tim Reinhard announce their plans to be married Sept. 14.
