V' Algonquin photographer featured at^exposition When the 94th Interim tionai'&pbsition of Professional Photography opens this Saturday in Rosemont, Illinois, Molly Konitzer of Algonquin will be among the professional photographers whose photographs have been chosen to be included in the general exhibit. This is the third time Konitzer has entered the yearly competition, and the third time she will exhibit. This year, three of her photographs will be on view. They are "Elizabeth" portrait of a bride; "On Guard," portrait of a Doberman; and "Mask of Death," an unclassified photograph. & Konitzer says, "I try to perceive each sitting as producing an award- winning print. This includes attention to detail and personal service, which my clients seem move.* W-f Photographs entered in the competition, which come from all over the world, are judged by a jury of master photographers and, on the basis of impact and technical skill, are either accepted or rejected for the exhibit and a merit award. Each photographer is allowed a total of four prints. • ~ Konitzer. who along with her daughter Cathy and husband John, owns Interesting Developments Studio in Algonquin, recently had one of her portraits used for the cover of the best-selling book by Aodrew Malcolm, "TheCanadians."
