Community MCHENRY PLAINDEALER Section A Friday, July 26, IMS P«M 7 Obituaries Daniel J. Boland Daniel J. Boland, 76, 1156 Home Ave., Oak Park, m. died Thursday, July 18, 1985, in Oak Park Hospital. He was born May 23, 1909, in Chicago. A summer resident of Wonder Lake for 25 years, Mr. Boland resided in Oak Park 40 years, and on the west side of Chicago prior to that. He attended Our Lady of Sorrows elementary school and St. Phillip high school; and had been employed as a truck driver. Surviving are his wife Leona (Langefeld) ; two daughters, Beverly O'Brien of Phoenix, Ariz, and Patricia (Roderick) Bergin of Winnetka, m.; and a son Daniel (Gaye) of McHenry. Funeral services were con­ ducted by Father William WOODSTOCK THEATRE O'Connell at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Bernardine Church, Forest Park, 111. and interment was in Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Ahem Funeral Home, Oak Park. Madge H. Lewis Madge H. Lewis of McHenry died Wednesday, July 24,1985 in Northern Illinois Medical Center, McHenry. She was 68 years old, born in Chicago Feb. 11, 1917, to George and Rose (Kenitz) Kubicki. Mrs. Lewis lived in the McHenry area about 10 years, having come from Niles, 111. Her husband James L. Lewis preceded her in death Sept. 2, 1984. Surviving are two sons, James D. (Patricia Ann) of Elk Grove Village and Dan G. (Carol) of Ft. Morgan, Colo.; a daughter, Mrs. Michael (Madelynn) Wieczorek of McHenry and four grandchildren, Marie and Mary Ann Lewis and Kelly and Lindsy Wieczorek. A Funeral Mass will be con­ ducted at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Patrick Catholic Church, McHenry and burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, McHenry. Surviving are his wife Fern (Toups) Paetow; two daughters, Katherine Misunas and Char la School approves budget By Marion Olsen Plaindealer Herald News Service A tentative 1985-86 budget of $8.03 million for District 15 elementary schools was ap­ proved at the July 17 school board meeting. A 60-day waiting period followed by a public hearing about Sept. 18 will allow for study andchanges, according to Assistant Supt. William Landis. He emphasized that the ap­ proved budget is a preliminary one because no salary figures are known for all classifications and state aid amounts have not been released. The McHenry C l a s s r o o m T e a c h e r s Health agency OK to nursing home A proposed nursing home located in a retirement village between McHenry and Crystal Lake received approval from a local health advisory board. The Health Systems Agency for Kane, Lake and McHenry Counties (HSA-KLM) voted to recoigmend approval of the plans'for a 99-bed nursing home on Route 31 near Ames Road, just south of McHenry. The $3 million nursing home will be situated in a 320-acre retirement complex called Canterbury Place which is being developed by Canterbury Corp. The plans call for the development of a 2,000 unit adult congregate care facility and 916 senior citizen apartments. The nursing home will be known as Balashire Hall, provided approval is given at the state level. Anton Perez Anton "Tony" Perez, 19, a West Lake County and Spring Grove resident for the past 15 years, formerly of Park Ridge, 111., died Monday, July 22, 1965, folowing an accident. He was born Dec. 4,1965 in Park Ridge. Mr. Perez attended Lotus Grade School and Richmond- Burton High School; and was employed by N. C. R. Cor­ poration in Rolling Meadows as a computer operator. Surviving are his mother Rayma Donahue of Spring Grove; father Arnold R. Perez of Chicago; a brother Joel Douglas Perez of Spring Grove; grandparents, John and Edna Donahue of Kansas and Teofilo Perez of Chicago; several aunts; an uncle and other relatives. Funeral services were con? ducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in the K. K. Hamsher Funeral Home Chapel on the Lake, Fox Lake. Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery Freemont Center.
