RICHARD KRIEGER One week in Orlando, Fla. highlighted by visits to Walt Disney World and the Epcot Center was in the honeymoon plans of recently married Mr. and Mrs. Richard A. Krieger. The bride is the former Vicki A. Roth, daughter of Franklin Roth of Palatine, 111. and Janet Roth of McHenry. Harry and Darlene Krieger of Richmond are th6 parents of the bridegroom. The 5:30 p.m. ceremony was officiated by Pastor Terry A. Dufur, June 15, in Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Richmond. An added touch to the setting was candles and candelabra, decorated with greenery, flanking the aisle. Special music for the occasion was the groom's rendition of "This Is The Day," and "Wedding Song'V and "God, A Woman And A Man" performed by a soloist. The bride's gown was fashioned with a fitted basque bodice, off-the-shoulder neckline and leg-o-mutton sleeves, finished ih extended bridal points. The softly gathered skirt of silk organza was accented by a heavily beaded, lace front panel, which edged the side of the skirt and continued the full length of the cathedral cross train. The train was adorned with scalloped crystal pleating, outlining the cross. Her cathedral silk illusion veil was secured to a beaded tiara. / Hie matron of honor was Sharon Pararo of Smyrna, Ga.; and the bridesmaids were Suszan Worzala of McHenry, Joy Goodwin of Loveland, Colo, and Lynne McWhinnie of El Paso, Tex. Bridesmaids were attired in iris color gowns with off-the- shoulder, ruffled bodices. The full hoop skirts were draped at the hemline with flounces of Chantilly lace tiers. Rich Riley of Indianapolis, Ind. was the best man and groomsmen were Tom and Ken Krieger of Richmond and Dan Krieger of San Diego, Calif. Following the nuptials, a reception for 209 friends and relatives was held at the Rich­ mond American Legion hall. The bride graduated from McHenry Community High School and McHenry County College with, an Associate in Data Processing, and is a computer programmer. Hold open house for 90th In observance of the ninetieth birthday of Barbara Freund, her children and grandchildren will hold an open house for relatives and friends Sunday, Aug. 11, at the Pearl Street Park, from 2 to 5 p.m. Mrs. Freund was born Aug. 13, 1895, in McHenry. On Nov. 8, 1916, she married Joseph L. Freund in St. Mary's Catholic Church, McHenry. The couple had six children, are the grandparents of 27 and great- grandparents of 25. The nonegenarian presently resides in Johnsburg and her hobbies include baking doughnuts and playing cards. A member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Johnsburg, she also belongs to the Blessed Virgin Sodality, Foresters and American Legion Auxiliary. The family requests no gifts. THEOS (To Help Each Other Smile) is a casual, warm and friendly group for widows and widowers, meeting the third Monday of each month at a local restaurant, for dinner together, followed by an evening of fun and fellowship. It began with a short memorial service in memory of Alvina McKaige, who had been a member of the group more than 23 years. The food was super, and even- the brief shower did not dampen the enthusiasm of the "White Elephant" sale which enriched the treasury. The first fall meeting of the* circle will be held Tuesday, Sept. 3, when Mary Rose and Helen Lundy will be hostesses. Guests are always welcome. Gary Koval, the former Sally Heinz was wearing her sister Mary's wedding gown, which Mary had sewn for her own wedding. It was ivory silk, et­ ched with a floral pattern, princess style. The bodice had a scooped neckline with a high collar in back and long full sleeves; and the skirt flowed into a train. Her ivory net veil was secured to a princess cap adorned with pearls and lace. She carried her mother's lace wedding handkerchief and a cascade bouquet of miniature ivory carnations, baby's breath and ivy. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John C. Heinz, 3707 W. Bradley Ct., McHenry. Mr. and Mrs. Stan Brendal, 8 Reno Ct., O'Fallion, Mo., are the parents of the bridegroom. Father James G. Gaynor presided over the 4:30 p.m. nuptials in St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, McHenry, July 3. Pink and white gladioli and carnations enhanced the setting, with organ music provided Djr Celeste Mann. A highlight of the oc­ casion was a solo, "All That I Am" rendered by the bride's sister Mindy Heinz. Attending her sister as matron of honor was Mrs. Mary Nienaber of Auburn, Wash. Bridesmaids were another sister, Amy Heinz and sister-in- law, Bonnie Heinz, both of McHenry. They were attired in dusty pink silk gowns (also designed and sewn by the bride's sister), featuring spaghetti straps and small cap sleeve jackets that tied at the waist, llieir hair adornment was baby's breath; and they carried smaller cascade bouquets, similar to the bride's, of miniature white carnations brush tinted dusty pink. The best man was the groom's brother Todd Koval of O'Fallion, Mo.; and groomsmen were USAF Sgt. Shawn Scott of New York and USAF Sgt. Averi Harrington of Florida. The bride's brothers John and David Heinz .of McHenry served as ushers. They -wore charcoal gray tuxedos with white carnations tinted to match the flowers of the bride's attendants. STAFF SGT.
