It will be possible to sign-up for credit classes, community education classes and seminars at the College's booth, C-20. Most credit classes start the week of Aug. 26. Community education classes start Sept. 3. Seminar dates vary. Although tuition or fees do not have to be payed when registering at Woodstock Business Showcase for McHenry County College offerings, tuition for credit classes must be to the College by 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 21. Fee payments for non-credit classes is due by 8:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 26. Students will be mailed a copy of their schedule. Right to Life organization plans to picket hospital Organizing a schedule for picket­ ing in front of Sherman Hospital in Elgin will highlight activities at the Monday, Aug. 19 meeting of Right to Life of McHenry County. The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. at 490 Coventry Lane in Crystal Lake. "Through a consistent picketing effort, we hope to help alert the public to the high number of abor­ tions being performed at Sherman Hospital," a spokesman for the group said. "A few other pro-life regular basis, and we hope to fill in some time slots in order to better educate the public about the local atrocity." Other items on the agenda include discussion of by-laws and charter­ ing, finalizing sub-Committee mem­ ber selections and initiating a vital membership campaign. Roth to return for healing masses Fr. Ron Roth will return to the area Sunday, August 18 for a 3:30 p.m. healing mass at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Lincoln and Tyron Streets in Woodstock. The mass, hosted by the Rev. John Cahill, pastor of St. Mary's, is open to all persons, of all faiths. Provisions are available for the handicapped as well as free babysit­ ting in the church basement. Refreshments will be served in the church cafeteria following mass. Fr. Roth has been conducting his healing services for about 10 years and he feels it is important for a person to "be made whole, healthy in mind, spirit and body." He en­ courages people to pray to God dur­ ing the service for the alleviation of pain and to allow the Holy Spirit to heal them. Healing is for any prob­ lems in daily life: illness, pain, fam­ ily problems, jobs, financial or men­ tal stress. Fr. Roth's future schedule in­ cludes his return to St. John's Church in Johnsburg on Sunday, Nov. 17 at 2:30 p.m. Other area masses will be at St. Rita's, Aurora, Wednesday, August 21 and Sept. 12 at 7:30 p.m. A 7:30 p.m. mass will be said on the first Tuesday of each month at St. Hilary's Church, Chicago.
