N The girls carried bouquets, made by the bride, of silk flowers consist ing of carnations, daisies and roses of white, pink and lilac. Richard Montano was the best man. Groomsmen were Chris Plu- cinski and Daniel Richoz. A reception was held after the ceremony at the Ramada Inn in Elgin. For their honeymoon, the couple went on a one-week Carribean cruise. The bride is a 1980 graduate of Dundee High School. The groom is an 1977 graduate of Elkhorn High School and currently is employed by Truss In Us. The couple resides in Elkhorn. Sherri is a photographer and owner of Cellar Studio in Crystal Lake. John is a recent graduate of Columbia College in Chicago, and is employed as an engineer at WCIU-TV in Chicago. The gown was trimmed in silk Venise lace, with long. full, sheer sleeves fitted at the wrist and a fitted bodice. The skirt was full and the train was a semi- cathedral. trimmed at the hem with chantilly lace. The three-layer, full-length veil and blusher was trimmed with chantilly lace. The veil was accent e d w i t h a l a c e a n d b e a d e d headpiece. The bride carried a bouquet of white roses and mums, accented with a small white Bible, lilac rib bon and butterfly. The Maid of Honor was Lisa Boul nois. the groom's sister. Brides maids were Sandi Dragosz. Angela Boulnois. Janet Johnson and Melis sa Zabinski. Flowergirl was Mi chelle Jacobsen. the bride's cousin from Delavan. Wis. The sleeves were three-quar ters covered with chantilly lace and the bodice was fitted with a satin' ribbon belt. They wore hats with ribbons to match their dresses. The attendants carried bouquets of carnations and roses, with a but terfly. Sheryl Wells, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Johnson of East Dun dee and of Mr. Bill Wells of Du buque, Iowa, was married June 15, 1985 to Roger Palenshus, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Palenshus of Elk horn, Wis. The 11 a.m., double-ring ceremo ny was held at the First Congrega tional Church of Dundee. The Rev. Charles Randall was the officiating clergyman. William Wells, the bride's father, gave the bride away. The bride was wearing a tradi tional gown, made of chiffon and taffeta, trimmed in chantilly lace with pearls. The dress had a high neckline, bishop sleeves, an A-line skirt and a fitted bodice trimmed with alencon lace and pearls. The train was a scalloped, cathedral length. The bride wore a hat and carried a bouquet of silk flowers, made by the bride and consisting of c a r n a t i o n s , r o s e s , d a i s i e s a n d stephanotis. Michelle Wells was the maid of Engagements Wells-Palenshus Jenny and Ricky Leis, of Quincy, 111. Bob is a 1980 graduate of Huntley High School and is employed by LeWalt Glass in Crystal Lake. The couple honeymooned in Mon- tego Bay, Jamaica, and is now liv ing in Crystal Lake. Gail Denise, daughter of Donald and Suzanne Rosborough of Crystal Lake, was married to Thomas San- topoalo, son of Thomas P. and Mary Santopoalo also of Crystal Lake, on June 1,1985. The double ring cermony took place in the First United Methodist Church of Crystal Lake with Rev. Robert Baker and Rev. Richard Carlson officiating. The maid of honor was Suzanne Mergele of Crystal Lake, and the bridesmaids were Judy Rosborough of Crystal Lake, Joy Gilsrud of Boulder, Colo., and Gwen Isen- berger of Chicago. The best man was David Bales of San Diego, Calif., and the grooms men were Tony Santopoalo of Car- bondale, 111., Steven Rosborough of Crystal Lake, and Bill Bartkowiak of Schaumburg. The flower girl was Nicole Inno- centi. The ring bearer was Michael Santopoalo. The newlyweds honeymooned in Orlando, Fla. and visited Disney land and Seaworld. The couple now resides in McHenry. Both Tom and Gail were 1982 graduates of Crystal Lake Central High School. Gail went to Illinois State University in 1983 and McHen ry County College in 1984. Tom at tended Southern Illinois University in 1983 and McHenry County College in 1984. Gail is now employed by North west Newspapers in Crystal Lake as an administrative assistant. Tom is employed by County Tire in Crystal Lake as a counter salesman. Platek-Burgess Debra Jean Platek and Robert Owen Burgess were married June 15,1985, at the First Congregational Church in Crystal Lake in a double ring ceremony. Debbie is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Platek of Crystal Lake, and Bob is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Owen Burgess of Huntley. Patti Scheuber of Washington, D.C., and formerly of Crystal Lake, was the matron of honor, and the bridesmaids were Sara Knox, Sarah Dennett and Mona Sotolongo.
