This troop was organized by request of the Winnetka Scout Council last fall, with the Rev. E. Ashley Gerhard, rector of Christ church, as Scout- master. Weekly meetings have been held through the winter, besides fre- quent hikes. The troop has been highly successful, and now numbers the full complement of 32 members. The camp is to be held on the property owned by the parish, five miles south of Frankfort, Mich. In order to meet the expenses of the camp, two entertainments are be- ing arranged for the early part of June. The first will be a dance to be given in the Winnetka Woman's club on the evening of Friday, June 4. Tickets may be secured from Mrs. Cornelius Lynde, 864 Bryant avenue, or purchased at the door. The second entertainment will be a Choir concert, to be given in the parish house at 8 o'clock on the evening of Thursday, June 10. Under the direction of John Rankl, choir- master of the parish, a program of English plain songs and national airs will be rendered. The boys of the troop are selling tickets. 00 Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ogden Magie, formerly of Winnetka, are leaving next Tuesday for the East to attend the graduation exercises of Miss Wheeler's school, where their daugh- ter, Miss Dorothy, is in the class. They will go from there to visit their son-in-law and daughter, the Chester Alan Wardwells of Brookline, Mass.
