As in the past this ses- sion will be for the morning hours only--nine to twelve--and will run through four weeks. The tuition will be $6 for the term. Es, Children will receive instruction in common branches--arithmetic, | language, writing, geography, history, upper grade grammar, etc. The sum- mer school is open to any children between the ages of seven and fif- teen, who have had at least one year of school work. Pupils wishing to make more rapid progress in school or to make up deficiencies or weak- nesses in their previous work are taking advantages of the summer session. The upper grade group will be taught by Miss Lucille Rossen, the lower grades by Miss Ruth Jacobs, both regular teachers in the Win- netka Public schools. The work will be on the individual basis, as is all the work in the Winnetka Public schools. It will be under the super- vision of Superintendent C. W. Washburne. 'WINNETKA DROPS CLOSE GAME TO GLENVIEW NINE Winnetka's Triangle club baseball team lost to Glenview Sunday, 6 to 5, in eleven innings of tight playing. Hanselmann was the hurler for the locals while Rugen did mound duty for the country fellows. Jack Woods was the starr of the game. His consistant stellar work has at- tratced wide attention on the north shore and, it appears, he is due for big honors on the diamond. Winnetka plays at Foster field, Ev- anston, Sunday, June 27, the Evans- ton North End 'nine providing the opposition. BARRICADE STREET NEAR HOME OF PHILIP S. POST Philip S.
