Decem- ber 22, the team won the first game from Austin with a score of 25-17. December 28 it humbled Centralia, last year's State champs, 23-17. Jan- uary 2 the heavy and light teams lost to Rockford by small margins. January 6 both teams defeated Evans- ton, the first team 20-18 and the sec- ond 15-8.
