In the same game it was decided that the Stags should take second honors. Up to that time neither team had been beaten. The winning team was captained by Donald Anderson. At the same time the North Shore Pirates retained their title to third place by beating the North Shore Sharks 29 to 26. Senecas Undefeated Two more series of games remain to be played in the heavyweight league. The standing in the league at present remains with the Skokie Senacas first with 1000 per cent Skokie Sioux second with 666 percent the North Shore Pirates third with 333 percent and the North Shore Sharks last with 000 percent. The week's games have not made much change in the line-up of the girls' league. The Redwings and the Flashes still head the list with a ner centage of 750. The leaders are fol- lowed by the Squaws, Swifts Savages and Panthers in order, Read the Want Ads FORD Skokie Motor Co. 712-714-716 Elm Street Winnetka Authorized FORD Dealers Remedy Parking Condition At New Trier High School Recent request by the Winnetka Vil- lage council that the New Trier High school board take steps to stop promiscu- ous parking of students cars in the vicin- ity of the school, this week brought re- sponse in a letter directed to the coun- cil by Edward J. Phelps, president of the High school board. In the letter President Phelps stated that the high school administration had been advised to establish parking rules for the students and asked the Winnetka police to exert their powers to insure ob- servance of parking regulations. The letter stated further that students have been requested to restrict parking space to the north side of Winnetka ave- nue between Woodland avenue and Es- sex road, diagonal parking to be the rule. Also, parking will be permitted on the west side of Essex road, parallel with the curbing. Village Manager Woolhiser was au- thorzied by the council to formulate a feasible plan to regulate parking near the High school. Says Home Study and Rest Are Great Need of Pupils Perry Dunlap Smith, principal of the North Shore Country Day school, Tues- day of this week spoke before a Moth- ers' meeting at the school. Principal Smith urged the parents to aid the children in their school work by establishing regular study hours in the home and prescribing regular periods of rest.
