The "Friendship Circle" will have a card party on their usual meeting night, Tuesday evening _at 8 o'clock, and an interesting and 'delightful evening is planned. . On Wednesday evening the Triangle Club, a Community House activity, is planning its spring dance in the gym- nasium at 8 o'clock. Special music will be a feature. The regular "Thursday afternoon classes in Fancy and Aesthetic, Danc- ing will close their' work for the sea- son with a party on Thursday after- noon. An interesting program has been arranged by Miss Rolence who has this work in charge. Camp Fire Girls. are making pre- parations for their "Grand Ceremoni- al" which is to be given in the Gym- nasium on Saturday afternoon, May 19th. Sebastian Hinton Dies; Real Community Leader Sebastian Hinton, well known Chicago attorney, who resided at 950 Fig street, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, April 29, at Stockridge, Mass., a victim of heart disease. Mr. Hinton has been ill for some time, was on his way to his old home in the east for a rest. Mr. Hinton is survived by his widow, Mrs. Carmelia Chase Hinton and three children. Services were conducted in Stockridge. Mr. Hinton was especially active in Christ church parish as well as in the comdmunity life at large. He was one of the most diligent workers in the in- terests of the new Skokie public school and his wise counsel and enthusiasm were a potent factor in making possible a public school built entirely upon public subscription. PATCHEN 574 Phone Lincoln Ave. 164 "Peter Pan" To Be Given By Skokie School Players Developing their scenes from the original prose presentation, pupils of the fourth, fifth and sixth grades of the Skokie school will produce "Peter Pan" on the stage of the Jane Kup- nenheimer Memorial hall May 25 and 2 Children taking part in the play are rehearsing under the direction of Mrs. Frances Murray, dramatic director, and Willard G. Beatty, Skokie School prinicpal. The settings, scenes and costumes for the production will be worked out on the model stage before "Peter Pan" is produced before the public. The Skokie pupils are displaying considerable ingenuity in presenting the play. Parents to See Pupils In Aladdin Play Soon An original play, "Aladdin and His Wonderful Lamp," was given by the pupils of the seventh grade of the Skokie school at the Thursday assem- bly of the school. In two weeks the me production will be given before the Skokie School Parents-Teacher association. Under the direction of Mrs. George Dunham, the children have written the play and designed and made their own costumes. Mrs. Marcus D.
