Ah: 4 J WINNETKA WEEKLY TALK, SATURDAY, MAY 12, 1923 3 KINNEY'S CAMP BOYS IN FEAST Adventure Islanders to Hold Reunion Habitues of Adventure Island camp, Sturgeon Bay, during the past three summers will gather at the Skokie school Saturday night, May 19, for the annual reunion of all boys who have ever ac- companied Charles A. Kinney to -the camp or on any of the many lake cruises that he has made through the Great Lakes. One of the principal features of the evening's entertainment will be the awarding of medals and emblems to last year's winners in various competitive contests in land and water sports. Awards will also be made to the best camper of last year--the person who showed the most apptitude to camp life. Experiences of last year will be more forcefully brought to life by a mov- ing picture reel filmed at the camp last summer. Sterioptican slides will also be seen. After the conclusion of these cere- monies the rest of the evening will be devoted to a genuine camp supper, songs and yells and the spinning of camp yarns. The score stood 19 for the Country Day boys and 7 for the Skokie Stags. At Skokie the boys' team have not been idle. Four of the public school's nines are enrolled in the North Shore Country Day-Skokie soft ball league. To date the Stars and the Sagamores seem to have the edge on their rivals. Both are Skokie teams and in games last week the Stars beat the Stags 13 to 11, and the Spartans went down to defeat before the Sagamores, 18 to 3. also linked up in a girls' league.
