The following girls leave July 17, with Mrs. Eloise Wortley in charge: Mabel Anderson Frances Anderson, Esther Beard. Helen Brown, Susan Burlingham, Florence Burnham, Ruth Copeland, Virginia Delay, Joy Fairman, Doris Ferry, Mary Forrest, Ethel Hale, Mary Hill, Jean Madrkley, Olga Mangel, Janet Marshall, Elisabeth Parker, Miri- am Peabody, Frances Ranney, Jean Snell, Margaret Sterrett, Margaret Stults, lois Truesdale, Ethel Thomas, Margaret Whipple, Sally Windes, Dor- othy Dickinson, Leoni Mills, Elisabeth McKinney, Katherine Roach. A meet- ing of the Camp Fire Girls is called for Monday afternoon, July 9, in Communi- ty House, when final arrangements for the journey and other important camp matters will be considered. Lucky are the ones who registered early this year, as the places on the list filled early in the season, leaving a waiting list of those hoping to go. Because of lack of equipment it is im- possible to take more than the limited number of thirty girls. This means dis- appointment for the ones on the wait- ing list, and is regretted by the Direc- tors, according to their statement. Co-operating with the Directors, J. W. F. Davies and Mrs. Eloise Wortley, are the following councillors: Margery Windes, Ruth Pease, Jessie Lloyd, Kath- erine Beard, Callette Anderson, Caro- line Roberfs, and Beatrice Anderson (trained nurse). The boys now in camp will return Sunday morning, July 15. There are also sixty faculty members and forty- five students, making a total of over 500, a record for this, the thirteenth annual summer class. Of the 500, sixty per cent are chil- dren of 14 years and under. Already many of the embryo swimmers are able to progress through the water with the aid of "wings," and at the conclusion of the course, August 18, Coach Robinson expects to have everyone of his pupils, not only an expert swimmer but a life-saver be- sides.
