Many young women have expressed themselves as desirous of belonging to: such a club and the indications are that there will be a very large number pres- ent to discuss and perhaps formulate plans for such an organization. Davies, Community House director, stated there are at least seventy- five young women in Winnetka who would find it of common advantage to get together at a dinner once a month | to hear a good speaker. Norma Dobbratz was chosen presi- dent for the new year, and other of- ficers were elected as follows: Nora Schulke, secretary; Emma Seaholm, treasurer ; Minnie Schlack, chairman of the entertainment committee. Friendship Circle is planning a Hal- lowe'en party for the evening of Octo- ber 30, to which working girls in the village are cordially invited. Propose More Equipment for Country Day School At a meeting of the board of directors of Country Day school, held Tuesday, October 16, there was a discussion of plans to increase the equipment in the school plant. Perrin, 85 Abbotts- ford road, have left on an extended motor trip through the southern part of the state.
