Ze WINNETKA WEEKLY TALK, SATU RDAY, NOVEMBER 24, 1923 GIVE THANKSGIVING DRAMA AT SKOKIE Thanksgiving is with us again and the dramatic class of the Skokie school is preparing to entertain the children of all the Winnetka schools with a Thanksgiving play. "Thanks- giving at Plymouth," a play for chil- dren written by Mrs. Lucy A. Cuddy of the San Francisco Children's theatre, and produced in that city sev- eral times last fall, has been chosen as the play. Wednesday, November 28, at 2 o'clock, the children will assemble in the Jane Kuppenheimer Memorial hall for the program. When they are all crowded in, not much room is left for any one else, so the Skokie children are going to repeat their play the following Saturday night, Dec- ember 1, at 7:30 o'clock, for the benefit of parents and friends who may wish to attend. The admission charge is moderate and the Skokie Dramatic class prom- ises that the presentation will be with the same degree of artistic finish which has been commended in their previous productions. All of the cos- tumes and scenery are the product of the children's own efforts and have been prepared in conjunction with their dramatic study. The play is in every sense a creation of their own. The proceed of this, as of previous plays, will be turned into further equipment of the school.
