"The 13th Chair," one of the best mystery dramas ever produced, is be- ing rehearsed under the able direction of Jessie Royce Landis, well known to north shore play-goers, and has been in. rehearsal for more than a month. Spiegel, Jr., president of the Players, offered "The 13th Chair" to any organization in Wilmette which would sponsor the performance, with the understanding that the revenue derived was to be devoted to some worthy charity. A local Wilmette organization was quick-to take advantage of this offer, and the performance is to be given in Wilmette at an early date. Several other organizations desired to avail themselves of this opportunity.
