BR Troubadours and strolling minstrels of the middle ages have stepped out of the favorite volumes of childhood to do their share in entertaining the chil- dren of Fvanston and the north shore tomorrow, at the Toy Carnival of the National Kindergarten and Elementary college, at the Evanston Woman's club. As children and parents follow in the wake of the minstrels down the Boulevard of Balloons they will see many a strange and fascinating sight: Toy vendors calling their wares; booths heaped high with gifts that surcly came straight from Santa's workshop: Rag- cedy Ann come to life, a Wishing Well more potent that the wish-bone of the Thanksgiving turkey, and many another joy from Fairyland. At the end of the Boulevard of Bal- looms is the Pixie Playhouse where Pinocchio, the limber-jointed little mar- ionette, the Fox, the Cat, the donkeys and the Blue Fairy, wait impatiently for their audience. Meanwhile the Elfin Inn with wafers thin or luncheons much more spacious, will serve each one and make his joy contagious. "Helps for Little People in the Home" as worked out by Miss Martha Olson, superintendent of Kindergartens, Dis- trict 75 in Evanston, will occupy a corner of the Mother Goose gallery and Bookshop, and will be demonstrated by some of the little tots from Evanston kindergartens. These suggestions are a Christmas present which will last the year round, and no mother should miss this booth.
