Christy Brown, president of the club, was master of ceremonies, which com- prised music and the formal charter presentation ceremonies conducted by James W. Chilton, president of the Optimist International. Invocation was pronounced by Dr. George P. Magill, pastor of the Wil- mette Preshyterian church. The ad- dress of welcome was given by Earl, E. Orner, Wilmette Village Clerk, while the principal address of the evening was made by Jay C. Goodrich, field sec- retary of the Optimist International. Christy Brown accepted the charter for the local club when formally presented by Mr. Chilton. Harry B.
