NF LE ETE February 20, 1926 WINNETKA TALK 11 Present "The Piper" at Skokie Fifty pupils of the Skokie school, Winnetka, assisted the Winnetka Com- munity Players in staging "The Piper," Josephine Preston Peabody's fanciful play, at the Skokie school last week. This represented the major work of the dramatic department of the school for the winter. The cast of the production included many persons well known in north shore dramatic circles and the play received enthusiastic receptions from large audiences last Friday and Sat- urday evening. BETROTHED Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence M. Stein of 812 Lloyd place, announce the engage- ment of their daughter, Ruth to Ber- nard Nath of Chicago. The marriage is expected to take place in April. Mr. and Mrs. Stein will be at home to their friends on Sunday, February 21. W. H. McPharlin of 67 Warwick road, who recently underwent an oper- ation at St. Francis hospital, is ¢on- valescing and hopes to be able to re- turn home in the near future. They will visit their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Keehn, in New York for a few days prior to sailing.
