ILL ) Greeley School Pupils in St. Patrick's Fete Wednesday, March 17, Miss Hislop, director of music in the grade schools, and the girls of the sixth grade gave a surprise assembly at Greeley school in commemoration of St. Patrick's. day. Miss Hislop had taught the fourth, fifth and sixth grades several Irish folk songs which they sang with keen enjoyment. The titles of the program numbers were, "Believe me if all those endearing young charms;" "The harp that once through Tara's halls," and "Song of the sea gulls." Miss Patricia Taylor, physical education director, had train- | ed the sixth grade girls to do an Irish jig. They were dressed in green. They jigged with true Irish spirit to an ap- preciative audience. Noted Physician Will Preach at Local Church Some time after Easter Dr, Percy J. Watson who is a physician at Fen Chow China, where the Rev. and Mrs. Paul R. Reynolds are missionaries for the Winnetka Congregational church, will be in Winnetka to speak from the pulpit of that church. Jean | LAMP SHADES Hand Made to Order The Lamp Studio Established 1919 620 Davis St. Over DuBreuils | Next Club Meeting to Feature Program Devoted to Mexico The next regular club meeting of the Winnetka Woman's club will be held on Tuesday April 6. This program will be given by the art and literature com- | mittee, Mrs. S. George Levy, chairman. | This committee will present Senorita Elena Landozwi, a Mexican, born and reared in Mexico City. She is, how- ever, a graduate from the University of Chicago. Senorita Landozwi will speak on"Mexican Folk Lore and Music." She is a skilled musician and interprets her lecture. The music committee of the Win- netka Woman's club on March 16, gave another of its always popular programs. Mrs. Dennis Gent sang a long and varied selection in a number of differ- ent languages. Mrs. Gent possesses so much that is lovely and artistic aside from her sweet voice that her very presence charmed her audience. Miss Hadassah McGriffin, pianist, added much to the joy of the afternoon by her perfect co-operation. Mrs. Everett Harris the chairman of the music committee, has been untir- ing in her efforts, and has brought to our club and village, largely through her acquaintance with the musical fra- ternity, the very cream of Chicago. Such devotion to art is much appre- ciated by the club. AID WITH GIRLS' WEEK Girls' Week, in session March 21 un- til March 27, will be opened Sunday afternoon by an address by Judge Florence E.
