The Assembly room of Community House will present a most unusual scene, what with the array of delicacies and staple food products attractively arranged on the many tables. This enterprise represents the culi- nary efforts of about 100 Winnetka Camp Fire Girls and the proceeds are directed into the Camp Fire fund. Honor awards go to the members of the eight Camp Fire groups participating in the sale for proficiency in this de- partment of their domestic science stu- dy. Each table will be presided over by a Camp Fire Guardian and the food will be judged by a committee from the Camp Fire Council. Local honors will be awarded to the groups who achieve 100 percent in the ratings, and there will be special honors for the most prettily decorated table, as well as the collection indicating the greatest variety of effort. Aside from the honors, the house- wives of the village are reminded that, after all, here is an opportunity to get some excellent pastries and other deli- cacies at moderate cost, and in a man- ner that will rebound to the benefit of the Camp Fire Girls. Church Receives Fine Painting From China A beautiful picture both from the point of view of the subject and artistic coloring has been received by the Win- netka Congregational church from the Rev. and Mrs. Paul R. Reynolds and their children, from Fenchow, China. The subject of the picture is "A glimpse of the great woll of China near Peking." It has been framed by the Church council and hung in the church. Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds are ministers of the local Congregational church to China. Christian Science Lesson Sermon Is "Unreality" The lesson sermon at First Church of Christ, Scientist, on Sunday morn- ine. Anril 4, will be "Unreality." Services are held in the Masonic temple at 708 Elm street. at 11 o'clock, and the testimonial meeting is held on Wednesdav evening, at 8 o'clock. The Christian Science reading room at 526 Linden street, is open daily from 12 until 6 p. m.
