Leonard company, Win- netka. It is an exceedingly attractive seven-room house, of the English type, located at 529 Hawthorne lane, on a lot 50 by 165 feet. It has been built for the market and will be completed for occupancy in two weeks. It is priced finishing touches on the builders, of 556 Center street, at $33,500. The kitchen is finished in a very light green enamel. Off the kitchen is the maid's room, bath and large clothes closet. A room this size is seldom designed as serv- ant's quarters in the residence of to- day, and has been suggested that the future owners of this place should experience no difficulty, whatever, in procuring good permanent maid's help, once they see the provision which has been made for her comfort. On the second floor are three bed- rooms and two baths. The master bedroom, is 15 by 27 feet, with tile bath and shower stall, the tub recessed beneath a huge arch, the tile and walls being done in a delicate peach tint. The other two bedrooms are also large, and connecting chambers, with bath room between, where the tub, also is within a deeply arched recess, both the tub and walls being of light gray and blue tile. The space beneath the high pitched roof of the English house, has here been converted into an exceedingly spacious storage room, the third floor being accessible by easy rising stairs. An attached garage, suitable for the storage of two large cars, with a brick- walled service pit in one stall, com- pletes the structure. This the E. T. Leonard company feels is one of the greatest values in a house of this type, at $33,500, it is possible to conceive. The E. T.
