RTI --) January 15, 1927 WINNETKA TALK Circle Bridge Party Is Time of Reunion The Lincoln Avenue circle spon- sored a successful card party for the benefit of its treasury, Tuesday, Jan- uary 11, from 2 until 4 o'clock, in the Assembly room of Community House. There were twenty-two tables of bridge in the room, which was attrac- tively decorated in colored tissue pa- per, pink, yellow and green predom- inating. Following the bridge at 4 o'clock a| program of music and other enter- tainment was given. Mrs. Robert Kingery played "Romanza" by Grieg, taken from the Sonata in C minor. Mrs. Frederick Dickinson read a most amusing one-act farce, and Mrs. Guy Stuart Bailey gave a program of three songs, including "Homing" by Del Riego, "The Star" by Rogers, and "My Little House," by Pierce. In addition to raising funds to buy materials for work in the circle, the object of this party was to bring to- gether the old and new members of the group. Some of the older members who had been unable to attend regu- | larly met the new members and spent a most enjoyable afternoon.
