One object of the tournament, accord- ing to the association, is to give its members an opportunity to get better acquainted with each other and to en- tertain their friends. While the association states it is not making any elaborate claims, yet it says it expects a most interesting day on August 18 and a lot of good goli. There is no limit to the number of guests a member may bring, but all players are invited to mail their reser- vations promptly.
