The entertainment will be a reproduc- tion of the old west and will be fea- tured by old time dances. Trick roping and stunts of a western nature will also be a part of the program. Profits from the entertainment will be turned over to the Tri-Ship club educational fund. The somewhat bizarre yet beautiful coloring of the club's Esplanada was completely eclipsed through the har- pumpkins, corn shocks, squash, and other fall pro- ducts, which came from the Wetten Farms through courtesy of one of the club's life members and attorney, Emil C. Wetten. Among the surprise events of the evening was the presentation to the McKearnan, life and director of the Russel rendition of Commodore J. Stuart Blackton, the club's first president. Several Hollywood persons of prom- inence were present Saturday evening, including the film star, Miss Beverly Jayne, who was among the guests of L. L. Arms, the club's directing manager. Prominent as hosts at the larger tables of the evening were Mr. and Mrs. John Wheeler, Mr. and Mrs. Errett Marion Grable, Mr. and Mrs. Walter D. Warrick, and Mr. and Mrs. C. Ernest Guyton of Evanston; Miss Henriette Langston, Mr. and Mrs. John Millen, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey A. Craig, and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas E.
