Y., James F. Lawton and Theodore Perry of Wilmette and William Jenks of Kenilworth, are re- turning to their homes for the holidays about December 17. The young men, graduates of New Trier High school, members of Delta Upsilon fraternity, all have received various honors. Mr. Lawton just has been made president of his class. Mr. Perry has been an honor student, and Mr. Lawton and Mr. Jenks are members of two varsity teams, the former of the soccer, the latter of the football eleven. The Christmas meeting of the North Shore Wellesley circle will take place at the home of Mrs. Irwin Rew, 217 Dempster street, Evanston, Tuesday, December 20, at 3 o'clock. Christmas music will comprise the afternoon's program. ---- The Alpha Epsilon Phi sorority of Northwestern university was enter- tained by one of its pledges, Miss Ruth Weil, at her home, 1040 Pine street, last Monday evening. ---- The Senior Music club of New Trier High school met at the home of Doro- thy Stover, 1183 Tower road, Thursday afternoon, December 8. Kenilworth Girl Weds in Home of Her Parents Saturday evening, at 8 o'clock, Miss Thelma Hunt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest M. Hunt, became the bride of Mr. Ralph Rettig, of Chicago. The ceremony was solemnized in the home of the bride's parents at 142 Abingdon road, Kenilworth, with Dr. Harlow V. Holt of Oak Park officiat- ing. The improvised altar was banked with palms and white chrysanthemums. White and silver predominated throughout the house. The bridal gown of white taffeta and tulle, embroidered with seed pearls, was fashioned in period style. A cap made of heirloom rose point lace held the tulle veil in place. Lilies-of-the- valley and bride's roses made the shower bouquet. Miss Dorothy Hunt, the brides sis- ter, was her only attendant. She wore a period frock of pink velvet and carried sweetheart roses and piak sweet peas. Harry B. Morris of Chicago served Mr. Rettig as best man. After December 15, Mr. and Mrs. Rettig will occupy their new home, at 1200 Mulford street, Evanston, the gift of the bride's father. Mrs. Samuel Fleager, 952 Pine street, is in St. Louis visiting relatives this week-end. Chicago store.
