Hart, Jr., of 485 Sheridan road, Glencoe, collided at Sheridan road and Elm street, Friday evening of last week. The accident occurred about 7 o'clock, as Mr. Biggs, coming from the south was making a left turn into Elm street. The impact threw the car driven by Mr. Hart up on the walk, and according to the report of Of- ficers Charles M. Bemus and Ralph Rayburn the car is a wreck. The front end of the Biggs car was also considerably damaged, but the driv- ers were not injured. Miss Mari Koretz and Miss Loraine Meister have sent out over sixty invi- tations to a dinner dance they are giving on February 4, at the North Shore hotel. SCORE TWO VICTORIES New Trier Heavyweight Cagers Trounce Evanston and Deerfield Fives Wally Miller hit his stride this week in the Evanston and Deerfield games which New Trier won by scores of 28-13 and 31-16 respectively. Scoring six baskets against Evanston and three on Deerfield he contributed 19 points to his team's two victories. The New Trier lights did not fare quite so well, winning over Deerfield 19-16, and losing to Evanston 13-9. Both lightweight games furnished much excitement as the score indi- cates. The heavyweight game with Deer- field at New Trier Tuesday was easily a walk-a-way for the home team after the lights had worn out practically the same lineup. The score was 25-5 at the third quarter when coach Grater sent in his second and third team lineups to finish the slaughter. The scoring was evenly divided--Miller, Nelson, and Sheldon each dropping in three baskets while Plowman made two and Markley one. From the start the Winnetka team dropped baskets at leisure, at no time being pushed in the least. The Deerfield lightweight game was not such a snap. The visitors jumped away to a six point lead before the New Trier team woke up. The home team, however, came back at the half to tie the score 13-13, and kept the scoring until the final whistle. Rev. J. A. Richards Gives Graduating Talk at Senn Rev. James Austin Richards of the Winnetka Congregational church de- livered the graduating address at Senn High school, Thursday evening.
