Mr. and Mrs. George Jones and family of Oxford road, Kenilworth returned on Sunday from two weeks spent at Excelsior Springs, Mo. While at Excelsior they met a number of their Kenilworth neighbors, among whom were Mr. and Mrs. Ben Bisbee, Mr. and Mrs. William Lodwick, and Mrs. George Richards. High School Girls Eager for Spring Sport Events Girls at New Trier High school who are interested in athletics have met to hear the details of the plans for the spring sports. .Last week practice started. There is an unusual- ly large attendance for both baseball and track this spring, and in the case of baseball, an absolute deadline had to be drawn for the "signing-up," which is quite unusual. Track is be- ing conducted on an individual system. That is, a certain number of points are being given for doing any of the events in a certain time, for a certain distance, etc., and teams will be prob- ably picked from those girls having a certain number of points. Whether the meet will be held on the indivi- dual competition basis or by classes has not been definitely decided. Kenilworth Club Gives Bridge Luncheon May 4 The Kenilworth club announces for Friday, May 4, the final bridge party for the season. This is to be a bridge luncheon with Mrs. E. John Hicks and Mrs. J. C. Carpenter as hostesses. There will be no guest fee and res- ervations for the luncheon must be made with Mrs. Hicks not later than Wednesday, May 2, the committee an- nounces. This is planned to be a most delight- ful party and the announcement sug- gests that the members entertain their friends who are not already members of the club. Mrs. F. E. M. Cole, 315 Essex road, Kenilworth entertained at luncheon at the Chicago Athletic association Wed- nesday, later taking her guests to see a matinee performance of "Excess Bag- gage" at the Garrick theater. The guest of honor was Mrs. J.
