Panthers Enjoy Dinner Meeting With Pa and Ma Members of the Panther club, their parents and a few guests, about sixty in all, enjoyed an "appreciation dinner" at Community House, Wednesday eve- ning, the affair having been planned by Mrs. Felix Balak, mother of one of the Panthers. The Panther club, an organization of Winnetka boys under the management of its own organization but piloted by Richard H. Fairclough of 958 Pine street, has proven so helpful and en- joyable to the boys that Mrs. Balak, as one of the mothers, planned the dinner to "bring parents and the Pan- thers together" and at the same time permit the parents to express their appreciation to Mr. Fairclough for the good work he is doing. Jimmie Runnfeldt, president of the club, spoke briefly on behalf of the Panthers, and Felix Balak, who is to represent the club at Camp Roosevelt this summer, also spoke. Short addresses were made by Dr. J. W. F. Davies, Harry P. Clarke and Mr. Fairclough, and a two-reel comic movie was shown of a picture in which Paul Runnfeldt is the hero.
