EO Release Haines' "Smart Set" via Norshore Sunday With spring in the air, and summer in the offing, Al Kvale, the Jazz Clown, and his gang of jazzicians have felt the "urge," and for their next stage offering at the Norshore theater, beginning Sunday, May 13, will present a colorful revue entitled, "Sunshine Days." A brilliant cast, combined with Al's merry syncopators, will make an elaborate spectacle, and harmony supreme will issue from the instru- ments. The cast is well picked, and includes such personalities as Ed & Morton Beck, Jones & Elliott, Sally Sweet, Jean Sheldon and The Sunshine Bal- let. William Haines, screendom's "smart aleck," who has so enhanced his repu- tation with his likable grin and self- confident mannerisms, will be seen on the silversheet in "The Smart Set," a fast story of elite society and the intriguing game of polo. Alice Day plays opposite Haines, while Jack Holt and Hobart Bosworth are includ- ed in the featured cast. A thrilling polo game climaxes this novel film, and Haines is at his best ever.
