Lyman to Be Commencement Orator for Garrett Prof. Eugene William Lyman, D.D., of Union Theological seminary, New York, will give the address at the 71st annual commencement at Garrett Biblical institute, Wednesday, June 6. Graduation exercises will be held in the Charles Macauley Stuart chapel at 2 in the afternoon. That morning there will be the annual Communion services at 8:30, the speakers to be the Rev. J. Hastie Odgers, district super- intendent of the Chicago Northern district of the Methodist church. The commencement program will be launched Sunday, June 3, with the 10:30 o'clock services at the First Methodist Episcopal church. The Rev. Halford Edward Luccock, D.D. con- tributing editor of the Christian Advo- cate and professor-elect of Yale divin- ity school, will preach. Tuesday of that week will be alumni day. At 10:45 the Chicago Methodist Preachers' meeting will be held at Stuart chapel. Dr. Luccock will give an address on "Methodism and the Future."
