This tire, the dealer states, goes be- yond other oversize and extra-ply tires and those built for heavy duty and lists as its features: deep cut all- weather tread with almost double the thickness of the standard Goodyear balloon; the toughest and longest- wearing tread compound ever de- veloped by Goodyear; more plies of fabric and more rubber between plies; rubber cured by low temperature to insure long, slow wear. ; "We are not urging every motorist to buy a pair or set of Double Eagle tires," states the dealer. "This is frankly a tire that is a lot better than the average motorist needs. Under normal conditions it will last the life of the average motorist's car." The Double Eagle is recommended for salesmen and business men, com- mercial houses with fleets of cars or trucks, and in general those who can- not afford delay from tire troubles. Mrs. Thomas McLaren, 1004 Pine street, and their children leave Thurs- day, June 7, for the east, to sail from New York City on the Laconia, June 9.
