In Bradford Academy Play Miss Violet Ravenscroft of Glencoe, pictured in costume (at the right) with Miss Florence Fay, a classmate, was one of the cast in the Bradford Academy pageant, "The Beginnings of Bradford," written by Maude Palmer Thayer, a member of the Bradford faculty, and presented on Anniversary Day (the 125th), June 9, at Bradford, Mass. She also graduated on June 11. The pageant was one of the many features slated to take place during Commencement week. A concert by the Leonora Society of Bradford and the Glee Club of Phillips-Andover College of Andover, Mass. was given the evening of June 9. Luncheons, receptions, and various exercises all contributed toward the success of the week. Miss Ravenscroft is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward H. Ravens- croft of 677 Valley road.
