Most of their time was spent at Star Lake, is Tennis Champion Is Best Bet to Repeat in Hot Tournament John Sheldon, winner of last year's tennis tournament at the New Trier High school courts and favorite to cop similar honors this year, advanced to the semi-finals in both the junior sin- gles and senior singles divisions of the tournament this week. In the junior singles he defeated John Parker in straight sets 6-3, 6-1, and will play Glover for the right to compete in the finals. Lange defaulted to Glover in the quarter finals. After losing the first set to McLean by a 6-8 score in the senior singles, Sheldon same back to win the next two 6-4 and 6-3, thereby reaching the semi-finals in that division. In another quarter finals match this week in the men's division Holter defeated Ober- meier, Wilmette tennis champion, by scores of 6-1, 1-6, and 6-1. Methodist Publication Tells of Therapy Work The current issue of the Home Quarterly, a Methodist publication, carries an illustration of the occupa- tional therapy room at the Evanston hospital illustrating an article by Mary Leonard on "The Contribution of Oc- cupation to Health." The article describes the work done at the Evanston hospital where 200 pa- tients, during the last year, have car- ried out the therapy program. The same issue carries an article by Edna Dean Baker of Evanston on "Making Christmas a Means of Spiritual Educa- tion." The Francis Peabody Butlers, who have been spending the summer in Nantucket, Mass., are expected to re- turn to their home on Private road Sunday.
