Weber and Math- Lay motored jto Chicago Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Rauen and daughter of Chicago were Monday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Rauen. Mrs. Alfred Richardson motored to McHenry Monday afternoon. Her brother, Mr. Cooley, returned with her. Mr. and Mrs. Clydte Parfrey were passengers for Chicago Wednesday. Frank Adams and Vyvian Hergott motored to Milwaukee Thursday and spent the day with the former's wife, who is very much improved and expects to be with her family soon. Mr. and Mrs. Merton Gracy of Honey Creek called here Monday. * Mrs. .Grace Gardner was a Chicago passenger Monday. Mrs. Jennie Oxtoby motored to Richmond Friday and attended a Relief Corps meeting. On Saturday evening Seliam Pierce was pleasantly surprised by a few friends and relatives coining and spending the evening. Oxtoby, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Pierce and three children, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Carr and Mrs. Fanny Carr. Mrs. Charles Behrnes and Dorothy spent Saturday in the city with relatives. Mrs. Bertha Esh and Mrs. Nick Klein were Ringwood callers Friday. A large delegation from here motored to McHenry Thursday and attended the road meeting which was held at that place. The Lotus Woman's club entertained guests at their club rooms Wednesday, the program being for Washington's birthday. A new program was rendered by the president, Mrs. Furlong, and Mrs. Frances Shotliff, which was appreciated by all. After the program the guests farmed a grand march, the music being given by Mrs. Walter Winn, aTound the hall and as a reminder of the Washington cherry tree story a large sack resembling a cherry filled with gifts, suspended from the ! celing, from which each guest received a present by reaching in it, after which a delicious luncheon was served by the committee.
