Foulke wer# pleasantly surprised Saturday evening at their home, it being in honor of their birthdays, games of various kinds were played and a real enjoyable evening was spent. Frances Bretz and Miss Mamie May were home from Kenilworth, on Wednesday to spend the day. Dr. and Mrs. Furlong attended the pot-luck dinner at Solon Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Hoff, Miss Katie Hoff and Nicholas attended the funeral of a niece of Mr. Hoff at Silver Lake Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Vyvian Hugott, Mrs. Frank Adams and daughter motored to Milwaukee Wednessday. Mrs. Adams who has been taking treatment there for the past ten weeks returned with them greatly improved. Mr. and Mrs. John Sanborn and daughter Helen of Chicago spent Thursday here with relatives. Mrs. Sanborn and daughter remained here until Sunday. Anton May spent the past week with his family here. Mr. May has been suffering with an attack of rheumatism. Mill street, Grove street and Main street, in the city of McHenry, McHenry County, Illinois" the ordinance for the same being on file in the office of the city clerk of said city of McHenry, and having applied to the County Court of McHenry County for an assessment of the costs of said improvement according to the benefits, and assessmets therefor having been made and returned to said court, which assessment is divided into tei^. annual installments bearing interest at the rate of 6 per cent per annum; the final hearing thereon will be had on the 28th day of March, A.D 1927, at th4 hour of ten o'clock a. m or as soon thereafter as the business of the court will permit.
