Every hotel in the village was taxed to its utmost capacity, while a number of private homes took care of some of those who were turned away at the hotels. It is conservatively estimated that the week end brought to McHenry and Fox river no less than 5000 visitors. While a great many of these traveled in automobiles, the steam road also brought in hundreds. Several special* trains were placed into service by the C. ft N. W. to handle the crowds which came this way. v Mb the McHenry Boy Scouts. . • Township 45, range % IfcHenry County, Illinois, for ihe year ending June 30, 1919: District Fuwd ' ? % Receipts - BalanMU*** ....^7^6096.84 From distribution of trus.. 1724.83 From district taxes;....... 15915.47 From transfers, tuition &es and other treasurers.... 1664.72 From sale of school prop... 127.95 Total..»...i...186528.81 Expenditures School board and business offices .\flM0 Teachers 11235.00 Text books, stationery, supplies, etc., .... 700.74 Tuition of transferred pupils 6.00 Janitor, engineers, etc..... 1112.36 Fuel, water, light, etc..... 815.62 Maintenance of plant...... 779.03 Libraries 21.00 Teachers' pension futid.... 10.00 New grounds and builditigs 94.50 New equipment . .......a.-***-- 514.81 District bonds ..,^^^^.>^1700.00 Interest on bond#, »^>vi ^ 193.33 Total.v»i,.... .$25528.81 .
