He believes McHenry county is ltd place for racketeering: or gangster politics, and if elected will protect the public from such hoodlums. < He favors the prompt prosecution of criminals and a speedy trial for all persons under indictment charged with crime. If elected Carroll will bring newmethods and practices to the performance of his duties in the office of State's Attorney, which office has been held almost continuously for twenty years by one man.
