TjqgBS PTOCK THE STDlTUf' OUT OF THE BALL 'GAINST HAEVAED The Johnsburg Tigers knocked the stuffin' out of the ball last Sunday, piling up 22 hits in a 18 to 8 win over Harvard. Eveyy man on the Tiger team hit safely, with the exception of the pitcher. But, nobody expected Bill to hit. He was taking good care of his job on the mound, allowing only five hits and whiffing fourteen batsmen. Not an earned run was scored by Harvard. Bud Meyers, regular shortstop, was ant with injuries. Stan Freund filled in at short and set the hitting paee •for the day, getting four out of five. The Johnsburg boys point to their twenty-two hits of last Sunday as an indication of the power they intend to show Richmond next Sunday. The Tigers haven't forgotten a set-back handed to them* earlier in the season by the Richmond club and Vim to, even the count this time. • y Johnsburg -- II A. Freund, cf. N. Smith, 2b . D.
