RRVS We sincerely regret the following series of misfortune to our employees which will necessarily curtail our policy of prompt service. - 1. Two weeks ago, Jim Faulkner, ear driver, met with a serious accident here and will not be able to work for at lea\t six months. That same day, John Flrken, our mill man, received hlrf final notice to report for Induction Into the army on November 9th. t. Anticipating Johnny's draft, we arranged te replace kin with Ray Horenherger, Jr. Two days after Jim's accident, Ray entered the hospital for an appendix operation. After Jim's accident, we appealed to the local draft board for at least a 80-day deferment for Johnny. Monday, November 6th, we were informed that our appeal had been denied. As of now, we have no crew. In the near future* however, we expect to obtain other efficient employees. In the meantime, we hope you will understand and be patient during the time it will be impossible for us to render the service to which you have been accustomed.
