BUILDING CODE PROBLEMS TO BE SETTLED APRIL 21 George Jedlicka of the Mc- j Henry County Building and i Zoning department has called \ a meeting for Thursday, April I 21, at 8 o'clock in the court i house annex in Woodstock for j settling difficulties which exist - between the county building ' code and some of the local codes in the county. Town officials and employees are being invited to attend. The meeting has resulted, ' according to Mr. Jedlicka, from . matters brought to his atten- ; tion by the state concerning ' some local authorities failing : to enforce a building code which is equal to that of the : county. * He added that while the ! county has never made a prac- j tice of interfering with incor- : porated municipalities in ref- ; ercnce to their building co^es, * recent high waters and subse- ; quent septic and rainage troubles have prompted several, attorneys to bring a section of • the Illinois Revised Statute' forward for enforcement.
