Justen & Son chapel Saturday morning at 11 o'clock for Allen V. Bisbee, 71, of 5403 W. Shore Drive, McHenry. Burial was in Wonder Lake. Mr. Bisbee died unexpectedly the night of Feb. 17 of a heart attack while visiting friends in McCullom Lake. The deceased was born Jan. 6, 1894. Mr. Bisbee was well krjpwn in the area during the years he and his wife, Helen, operated the Shan-gra-La Nursing Home south of McHenry. Mrs. Bisbee died in 1962. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Ciesil of Wauconda; two sons, Allen of Markham, 111. and James of Guadalajara, Mexico; also fifteen grandchildren. GEORGE STEFICH Qeorge Stefich of 2108 Walnut C)rive, Wonder Lake, was found dead last week Wednesday evening, Feb. 17, by a neighbor who went to his home. Mr. Stefich was 74 years of age. ^ ' An investigation conducted by Coroner Theron Ehorn revealed that death was due to a heart attack. Hee was a native of Yugoslavia, where he was born Feb. 16, 1891. Mr. Stefich had resided in this area for about eight, years. The body was taken to the Peter M. Justen & Son funeral home and then removed to the Marik Sons chapel in Chicago. JACK DeMAY Jack DeMay, 54, of 1618 Beach Road, Lakeland Park, died Tuesday morning, Feb. 23, at his home after suffering a heart attack. He was pronounced dead on arrival at McHenry hospital. He was well known in the community, having been employed in Schmitt's barber shop on Green street. Mr. DeMay was born Sept. 29, 1910, in Italy. He was a member of the American Legion Post, in Pittsburg. Survivors are his wife, Mary Burrafato DeMay; two daughters, Rose and Mary Jo, and a son, John, at home; two brothers, Anthony and Joseph, of Harvard; a sister .Theresa, of Italy; and his mother, Mrs. Mary DeMay, of Harvard. The body rests at the George R. Justen & Son funeral home after 7 p.m. Wednesday. Mass will be sung at 10 o'clock Friday, with burial in St. Mary's cemetery. He was bom Nov. 12, 1881 in New York state, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Harris. „ V On April 14, 1909 Mr. Harris was married to Josephine Adams in McHenry. The couple celebrated their golden wedding In 1959. Parkside avenue, Chicago, last Sunday afternoon, Feb. 21. She had been a patient in St. Elizabeth's Hospital for a few days about two weeks ago. The deceased was the mother of twins, Gerald and Gregory Burg of McCullom Lake, and Mary Burg of Chicago. LOUISE KIDDELSEN Mrs. Louise Kiddelsen, 74, of 4205 N. Crystal Lake Road, McHenry, died Feb. 22 in Michael Reese hospital, Chicago, where she had been a patient four days. Mrs. Kiddelsen was a native of Chicago, born Oct. 1, 1890. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. William (Ruth) Martincc of Johnsburg. Mrs. Richard (Margaret) Jung of Solon Mills and Mrs. Gerald (Louise) Miller of McHenry; a son, Elmer G., of Chicago; fourteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and a brother, William Munse, of Champaign. PLAY RETURNS TO CHICAGO FOR TWO-WEEK RUN Edward Albee's "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf'?, cited by the New York Drama Critics as the Best Play of the 1962-63 season, will return to Chicago to play a two-week engagement at the Studebaker Theatre beginning Monday, March 1, through Saturday, March 13. Because of the play's length (it runs three hours and twenty minutes), all evening performances of "Virginia Woolf" will begin promptly at 8 p.m., with the Wednesday and Saturday matinees beginning at 2 p.m. Starred in the evening company are Vicki Cummings and Kendall Clark, in the roles of Martha and George, a disillusioned couple whose marriage is disintegrating in a red haze of alcohol and insult.
