The • program, which was dedicated to Pat Todey, the Marian senior who was recently killed in an auto accident, was a most beautiful tribute to Pat, who was loved so dearly by the students and faculty. Annual Banquet "Out of the Cook Book" was the theme title of the Fox Lake Baptist church annual mother and daughter banquet, held in the church basement on the evening of May 13. Chris Fail, vice-chairman in charge of the program, carried out the theme by styling the individual programs as a cook book and including recipes as "Fruit Delight: 1 heartfull of love, 1 ' grain of faith, 2 handsful of gentleness, a generous portion of peace. Be careful when all ingredients are mixed together: your cup may run over." The color scheme of lavendar arid blue in the flower arrangements and table settings created a lovely spring illusion. Chris arid daughters, Elaine, Melody, and Merily, along with Over one hundred mothers and daughters, thoroughly enjoyed the delicious work-free meal which was prepared and served by a catering service. During the program which followed the dinner, Chris was installed as the president of the Women's Mission Society, the organization which sponsored the dinner. Good luck in the coming year, Chris. The Estates Revisited Mildred Senkerik was most pleased to welcome June Banker and her parents the Schweigers, for an afternoon visit on Friday, May 14. Mr. and Mrs. Sehweiger of Granite City are enjoying a two-week stay with June and Chet in Chicago, and were anxious to include a trip out to their former home, the Estates, during these two weeks. June said Chet is doing fine and keeping busy, and that they both like th§ir new apartment. Very good. Belated Mother's Day Stan and Joan Walczynski treated the Senior Mrs. Walczynski to a belated Mothers Day gift by taking her out to dinner in Chicago on the Saturday after. Nice treat for Joan also.
