The camp , is to be located on the bank of the Fox river, three miles north of McHenry on the Schmidt Farm with a place to go swimming and a fine j^ace to fish. Tents- with wood floors large enough for eight boys will be used and the canvas is of such a ,qu;ili1y that continuous rains will riot sonk the tent. The passenger boat "Alice" has opened its nineteenth season to' carry . passengers between McHenry, the Chain-o'f- Lakes and the lotus beds. Special trips by appointment to Wilmot, Wis.. and all other points along Fox River and the Chain-of-Lakes. Wells property consisting of a lot, a large two-story house and private garage locaterd on the northwest corner of Green and Kim Streets, passed from the local physician's ownership to that of Tom Dattolo of Arlington Heights and Charles and John Unti of this city. Mrs. Baer was bom in Johnsburg, her parents being the late Frank and Elizabeth Smith. Miss Jean Rogers of 'Elgin daughter of Fred Rogers of McHenry, fulfilled her greatest ambition a few months ago when she was accepted as an airline hostess.
