The Plaindealer actually made me feel closer to home when I read it." Local students attending school at Whitewater, Wis., must be enjoying an unusual attraction in the college town. K. A. F. GOP CHAIRMAN TELLS DELEGATE SELECTION PLAN (Continued from Page 1) should submit their name and address in writing to J. R. Levesque at 3011 N. Spring road, McHenry, at their earliest convenience. In answering questions about conflicting reports on his position, Chairman Levesque went on to say, "Even though I am in favor of the conference or convention, I felt that there was too little concrete information given us at the meeting held on Oct. 27 for us to make a final decision. There were no rules or voting methods disclosed by the several people who presented the plan to the main body. In addition to this, thirty-one counties (almost a third of the state) were not present. For these reasons, I moved to postpone the vote on the convention for thirty days, during which time the committee or committees would be able to formulate final plans and voting methods and would have time to generally enlighten all of the 102 county chairmen. The motion was defeated. Chairman Levesque stated that he felt the convention f oi£ conference is in the best ty while it will not close the interest of the Republican pardoo^ ion an open primary or deny the voter any freedom of choice. i. •rftr »"<>*WKUSIC AFTEk!'NIEN P.M. -- *•- :it McHenry, Illinois 11-11-18-65 BEN FRANKLIN Headquarters for America s Favorite Jeans -- MANORS! m We Now Have Women's Corduroy Wranglers $3.99 - $4.99 Men's and Boy's fe"?
